Tomas Haake (born July 13, 1971) is the drummer for the technical metal band Meshuggah.

Haake is noted for his technical abilities, as his drumming style is characterized by heavy use of polyrhythms while often maintaining a steady 4/4 beat. This signature style has become one of the most recognized features in the music of Meshuggah. He is also known for stacking his cymbals in a variety of configurations to give himself a unique sound.

Haake also writes the majority of Meshuggah lyrics and also contributes spoken vocals on several songs ("The Exquisite Machinery of Torture" on the album Chaosphere, "Spasm" on the album Nothing, as well as on several chapters on the album Catch Thirty-Three).

The drumset Tomas Haake uses has been meticulously sampled in full for the software instrument Drumkit From Hell Superior made by Toontrack, with Haake performing all the hits himself. It since has been used by many bands, including fellow metal act Clawfinger and Devin Townsend's Ziltoid the Omniscient. Meshuggah later went on to use this software instrument to program all the drum tracks for their album Catch Thirty-Three, and the re-release of their album Nothing, using no live recorded drums by Haake.

Haake is also featured on vocals in Meshuggah guitarist Fredrik Thordendal's solo album Sol Niger Within.

A zasto nije svirao na poslednjem albumu? Zasto su koristili kucan bubanj, jel se zna?

to je pretposlednji album. juce je oficijelno izasao novi, zove se obZen. kucan je bubanj zato sto je hteo malo da eksperimentise sa nacinom pisanja muzike. sa tog albuma se na turneji sviraju samo dve pesme. a mislim da je mozda i hteo malo da promovise svoj softver drumkit from hell.

Ja imam samplove drum kit from hell, sa njima nakucavam bubanj, ali se ne igram sa dinamikom i slichnim stvarima - mrzi me!

...mislim da je i na onom EP-u "I" semplovan bubanj.

...a za obzen...nemam rijeci...tatica je rekao sta misli od duplom bas bubnju na pjesmi "Bleed"...
......album je fantastican....bubanj...ma ne treba ni da se prica...pjesma "Pravus" je moj favorit!!!

...ma negdje procitam da je tHomas, a negdje Tomas...
...ali, posto vidim da si ti stari prijatelj sa njim..(i jos nisi naglasio da si dobio model njegovih palica)...onda je TOMAS HAAKE!!!

...A i ti sto si odlupao onaj draconic...a brate, svaka ti cast...reko', mozda ce te jednom zaboliti stomak ili dobices nekakav proliv...pa neces moci neku svirku da radis...pa sam poceo da skidam pjesme...da uletim umjesto tebe.

...Haake- on je komplet rodbina, familija itd....

...Hoglan je moj co'ek...stomak i tako dalje...samo sto je njegov stomak nedostizan.
